SSV District Basketball ​Hoop Time

​On Wednesday 12 September the PLC Junior School Basketball Team competed at the SSV District Hooptime Basketball Competition. The played great basketball during their pool matches, with a few wins and loses. The girls found themselves just outside finals contention on the day but should be really happy with their efforts on the day. The team of seven girls only had two girls who have played regular competitions standard basketball so we were quite inexperienced but that didn’t stop the girls being competitive against all teams. The games were fast and skillful with plenty of nail-biting finishes. PLC fought hard all day and finished in fifth position. Well done to the following girls for their commitment to training and the fantastic team effort they displayed on competition day:
